The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has referred the case of construction firm to NAB for recovery of Rs 143 million due to non-completion of construction work of IJ Principal Road on time.
This action has been taken under the directives of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC). The recoveries will be made under various heads including a sum of Rs 73 million under Risk and Cost head, Rs 35 million against bank guarantee and Rs 35 million against bonds.
The CDA has filed separate case in the court of center special magistrate in connection with recovery of this amount.
