Balochistan Governor Zulfiqar Magsi has summoned the maiden session of the Balochistan Assembly at 5pm on June 1 for the oath-taking ceremony of the MPAs-elect.
Some 49 members will take oath as members of the assembly. Meanwhile, by-elections in two constituencies, PB.29 Nasirabad II and PB 32 Kachhi III, are to be held.
Mir Ghafoor Lahri from Nasirabad had won the general elections but was disqualified for having a fake degree while elections in the other constituency had been postponed in the wake of the murder of a candidate, Abdul Fatah.
