Saudi govt declares 30,000 Pakistanis illegal immigrants


The Saudi Arabian government declared 30,000 Pakistanis as illegal immigrants on Wednesday following introduction of a new employment law.
According to the new law, the government declared that any work or job, different from the one declared on the visa, would be considered illegal.
Saudi Arabia has termed the latest move a measure to provide employment to locals.
Tens of thousands of Pakistanis are working in Saudi Arabia and have been facing problems due to strict employment rules in the country.
