Beat the heat with a Naran trip: PTDC bus service resumes

According to the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC)’s press statement on Wednesday, its daily air-conditioned bus service between Rawalpindi and Naran would be re-continued from June 1to facilitate the foreign and Pakistani tourists visiting Kaghan.

“The bus would start from Flashman’s Hotel, Saddar at 9am daily and would arrive at 05pm at the Naran PTDC Motel, while the returning bus from Naran would start at 09am and arrive in Rawalpindi at 5pm.” The statement said that the one-way fare has been fixed at Rs.1,500 per person with a 50 percent discount for children.

Moreover, PTDC’s Motel at Naran was opened on May 15. The resort has over 60 rooms, huts and cottages spread over a vast area by River Kunhar’s side. “PTDC is also offering fixed date departure package tours to Kaghan, Swat, Gilgit Hunza, Skardu and Azad Kashmir,” the statement added.

Advance booking for the bus service accommodation and package tours is being offered by PTDC’s Rawalpindi office over the phone at 051-9272017-18,” said the statement.
