Appeals against election results to be disposed of within 120 days

Acting Chief Election Commissioner (ACEC) Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jilani has said that the general elections were transparent if compared with the past elections.
Talking to media on Wednesday‚ he said ninety percent of the elections were transparent while in the remaining ten percent human errors occured.
He said the election tribunals would work on a daily basis to dispose of appeals and complaints against the election results within 120 days.

  1. Its easy for EC to say that 90% elections were ok He is mistaken in my opinion and the rigging visuals snaped by media shows that rigging was huge Best way to resolve the complaints of voters is to use scanning macine to make sure the thumb impressions were of the actual voter By look of the situation EC is failing to deliver which is rather shame for those given that very responsibility I hope EC complies with the demands of the voters

  2. We want to know the facts and an unbiased report of the election held on May 11, 2013. Who will make sure that a one-man commission is not given to author the report?
