Swat peace group member’s son killed, 4 injured in bomb attack

At least one person was killed and four others injured when a remote-controlled bomb hit the vehicle of a member of peace committee on Tuesday.
The incident took place in the Yakh Tangi area in which peace committee member Sher Ali alias Jajaniyan’s vehicle was targeted with a remote-controlled bomb.
His son Barkat Ali died on the spot and four people, including his brother Anwar Ali and two women, were injured in the incident.
According to sources, the victims were heading towards Mingora to condole DSP Khan Bahadur’s death, who was killed along with five other policemen in a bombing in Shangla.
The injured have been shifted to Saidu Sharif Hospital.
