PPPP nominates Qaim Ali Shah for Sindh CM’s slot

The Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) has nominated Qaim Ali Shah as the new chief minister of Sindh.
PPPP President Amin Faheem announced Shah’s name for the CM’s slot during a parliamentary meeting on Tuesday.
The meeting also decided names of Agha Siraj Durrani and Shehla Raza for speaker and deputy speaker respectively.
In the first phase, the cabinet would consist of five ministers, Manzoor Wasaan, Sharjeel Memon, Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani, Nisar Khorro and Dr Sikandar Mandro.
Moreover, Nisar Khoro has also been nominated as parliamentary leader of the House.
This is third time that Qaim Ali Shah is going to be the chief minister of Sindh.
Apart from being elected as an MPA several times, Shah has also been an MNA and a senator.
He belongs to District Khairpur and has been a PPP loyalist since the party’s inception and, apart from being elected to the provincial assembly several times; he has also been an MNA and a senator. He has also served as federal minister for industries and Kashmir Affairs in Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s cabinet in the 1970s.
