Jamiat- e- Ulema -e-Islam (JUI) Sindh information secretary on Monday announced that the provincial general body meeting of his party would be held consecutively on May 29 and 30 at Sukkur.
He said the two day general body meeting would be chaired by the JUI Provincial Chief Maulana Abdus Samad Halejvi at Jamia Mazharul Uloom Hamaadia, Manzil Gah, Sukkur.
On the occasion, the participants would extensively discuss party’s performance during the recently held general elections.
Further, district office-bearers of the party would present a report related to elections, while JUI-Sindh Secretary General Dr Khalid Mahmood Soomro would present the annual report of the party’s performance in the province.
Moreover, the information secretary said that the party leaders and members would also discuss the performance of the 10- party alliance during the recently concluded elections and also to review the alleged rigging allegations and irregularities in the election procedure.
All district amirs and nazims of the party were being particularly requested to attend the meeting, he informed.
