George Galloway, chief of Respect Party and a member of British Parliament, has criticized the British government policies and said that it has adopted double standards in war against terrorism and extremism.
He was talking to public delegations from his constituency here Sunday. Galloway said that he would consult his legal team on Tuesday (tomorrow) for action against Altaf Hussain. Galloway said that the UK government was part of war against extremism in Afghanistan but it had been indifferent to extremism by a man sitting in London. Said that neither world needed new countries any more nor separation of Karachi was beneficial for anyone.
Galloway advised the new Pakistani government to solve the country’s economic problems with the help of China rather than seeking aid from America. Criticizing police silence on the thousands of complaints against Altaf Hussain, he remarked that the government was silent on the issue for its own interests. He said that because of extremism the British soldiers were not safe on London streets.
