Unscheduled and prolonged electricity outages coupled with low gas pressure have turned the life of the citizens miserable, so much so that the electricity problems have stirred protests.
Amidst the claim of uninterrupted power supply by Hyderabad Electric Supply Company, frequent interruption in electricity supply accompanied with repeated fluctuations, caused damages to thousands of electrical and digital appliances of power consumers in various parts of Hyderabad.
Besides, the officially announced loadshedding schedule covering two hours each in the morning, afternoon and night, the citizens were also facing power outages in the name of faults in transformers, feeders and grid stations, and collapse of high voltage wires, thus making the lives of citizens miserable.
The citizens of different localities appealed to the higher authorities to resolve their problems as the mercury kept rising and to provide a sigh of relief to the general public by eliminating the trend of unannounced loadshedding.
