PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday condemned the spiraling load shedding across the country at a time when temperatures were also soaring.
He said the caretakers had been shameless in their torment of the ordinary Pakistani with unprecedented utility price hikes and load shedding, which had been taken to a level where effectively the country had no electricity except for a few hours a day at best.
Khan criticised the inability of the caretaker government to release the required funds for easing up load shedding. “With the excessive heat all across the country, the caretakers are aggravating the divide between the rich and the poor with the poor bearing the brunt of the fallout from rising prices and load shedding.”
“This is absolutely unacceptable,” Khan added.
The PTI chief demanded the interim government immediately sensitise themselves to the suffering of the nation and provide relief against the prevailing excessive load shedding.
