The sale of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) in Sindh has been enhanced by 25 percent due to weekly closure of CNG in the province.
LPG Distributors Association Chairman Abdul Hadi Khan told a private TV channel that the sale of LPG increased after bus and rickshaw owners started using it as a substitute for CNG.
The price of LPG was less by 40 percent in the country, therefore it was also smuggled to Iran in huge quantity that amounted to 200 tons per day. Meanwhile, the demand of LPG was also on the rise in other cities of the country.
