Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif met United States (US) Ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson, Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan Sharat Sabharwal and German Ambassador to Pakistan Cyrill Jean Nunn in separate meetings at Raiwind on Friday.

Nawaz Sharif and Sharat Sabharwal exchanged views on ways to boost bilateral ties. He conveyed the good wishes of the Indian prime minister and hoped for improvement in bilateral relations during the tenure of Sharif.
Sharif said Pakistan wanted to resolve all issues at the dialogue table on an equal footing.
The German ambassador congratulated Nawaz Sharif on the victory of his party and said his country was looking to work with his government to enable Pakistan overcome the energy crisis and other critical issues. He praised Pakistan’s role in the war on terror.
The meetings come after Sharif’s party secured the majority of National Assembly seats in the May 11 general elections.
In the wake of the party’s success, Sharif is expected to take oath as the country’s prime minister in the first week of June.
