Polyclinic Hospital Executive Director (ED) Dr Shaukat Kayani said on Saturday that all the hospital’s recruitments were transparent and meritocratic.
The ED said that he had written a letter to the Capital Administration and Development (CAD) Ministry in this regard, and if they wanted they could re-conduct the job interviews by appointing a grade 18 officer.
He said that a committee consisting of the CAD section officer and two senior doctors of Polyclinic was convened for recruiting technicians and other staff, adding that he gave explicit instructions that anyone found indulging in nepotism would face the consequences.
He said that the PolyclinicHospital was an exemplary institution and basic plans for the hospital’s expansion to cater to a larger number of patients had been made.
