Load shedding still too hot too handle

The meteorological department on Saturday said that the heat wave had lessened in intensity, but people continued to suffer from hours’ long load shedding.

In several areas of the country, the weather improved as a light breeze relieved the exhausted public. However, in many areas of Sindh and lower Punjab including Larkana, Badin, Ghotki, Rajanpur, Bhawalpur and Jhang the heat had not subsided, augmented by frequent power outages.

Despite the minor change in the weather, the energy crisis continued to trouble the populace as citizens had came out on the roads to protest the prolonged load shedding in many parts of Islamabad.
