National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Fasih Bokhari on Saturday filed his reply in the Supreme Court in connection with a petition challenging his appointment.
In the reply submitted through Latif Khosa, Bokhari said Chaudhry Nisar challenged his appointment to malign President Asif Zardari and get political mileage.
“Nisar is no more leader of the opposition. Therefore, his petition has become ineffective now,” he argued.
People have rejected Nisar on one national and one provincial assembly seats, he pointed out.
Bokhari said that how could the opposition leader, who could not recommend single name for the NAB chief, could ask for a three-member panel.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Fasih Bokhari is arrogant and dumb. His illegal appointment has nothing to do with the loss of seats by Nisar.
