Balochistan’s caretaker CM exchanges vehicle with ASI fearing life attempt

 

Nawab Ghaus Bakhsh Barozai, the caretaker chief minister of Balochistan, on Friday used a personal vehicle of a police assistant sub-inspector to reach Balochistan House, fearing attempts on his life during a half-kilometer drive from the Islamabad Red Zone.

According to details, Barozai visited the National Press Club (NPC) and held a sitting with the local journalists.

During the period, dozens of protesters from the Jamhori Watan Party (JWP) staging a sit-in outside the NPC chanted slogans against him, demanding the government repatriate them to Dera Bugti.

After the event, the convoy of the caretaker chief minister, with an empty vehicle without of the CM, rushed back speedily.

However, Barozai used the personal vehicle of one of the ASIs to return to Balochistan House.

The CM left the venue around 10-15minutes after his escorting convoy left the premises.
