Islamabad Anti-Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) on Thursday arrested two car thieves, a police spokesman said.
Following the directions of Inspector General Bani Amin Khan, special teams were formed by Islamabad SSP Yaseen Farooq under ACLC head Inspector Rukhsar Mehdi.
According to details, ACLC team arrested two car lifters red-handed in the Tarnol police precincts. They were identified as Irshad Khan alias Zumaly and Amin, and impounded a car (WJ-782) from them. During the initial investigation, these accused confessed to lifting carsfrom various areas of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
IG Bani Amin Khan and SSP Yaseen Farooq have praised the raiding team.
