A technical fault in Guddu Thermal Power, which tripped Guddu, Uch and Habibullah coastal power plants, has been fixed while power supply has also been restored in various areas.
According to the sources, the power supply to affected parts of Sindh and Balochistan provinces have been restored.
Earlier, a fire had broken out at Guddu Power House Unit-4 following a technical glitch due to which 1,450 MW electricity was lost from the system.
