Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif met US Ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson and Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan Sharat Sabharwal in Raiwind on Friday.
During the meeting, Olson said the US wanted to strengthen its ties with Pakistan and was willing to help Pakistan overcome the energy crisis. Various other issues were also discussed in the meeting.
Sabharwal and German Ambassador to Pakistan Cyrill Jean Nunn also met with Sharif separately and discussed issues of mutual interests.
The meetings come after Sharif’s party secured the majority of National Assembly seats in the May 11 general elections.
In the wake of the party’s success, Sharif is expected to take oath as the country’s prime minister in the near future.
