Six new cases of dengue fever positive were reported in the metropolis on Friday, coupled with five others registered with Sindh Dengue Surveillance Cell during the last two days.
Dengue Surveillance Cell In-charge Dr Aamir Shakeel Mullick said on Friday that details of the dengue fever cases reported in the current year put the metropolis on top with 133 dengue fever positive cases, while eight cases were reported from other parts of the province.
The eight reported cases outside the provincial metropolis were from Hyderabad (two), Larkana (one), Khairpur (one), Shikarpur (two) and Thatta (two).
