Khursheed Bukhari has been appointed acting director general (DG) of the Intelligence Bureau (IB), sources said on Thursday.
According to the sources, incumbent IB DG Abdul Wadood Shah will retire and he would be appointed member of the Federal Public Service Commission.
Bukhari was a chief of the IB in Punjab.
