Ministry for Foreign Affairs Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani on Thursday declared the visit of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang “very successful”, saying both countries struck many accords to further relations.
“China’s trade mission will soon visit Islamabad,” Jilani said during informal media talk with journalists.
The secretary said Pakistan-China Friendship was not only historic, but time tested as well and both countries were bound in historical relations since decades.
Jilani said Li Keqiang’s recent visit was a solidarity message from the new Chinese leadership and reiteration of commitment by Chinese leadership to strengthen ties between the two countries.
He disclosed that a Chinese trade mission would soon visit Islamabad and discuss new trade avenues to strengthen the trade ties between the two countries.
Elaborating, he said the delegation would also discuss opportunities of investment in Pakistan and to raise the Pak-China trade volume.
