Salahuddin Mengal, former Balochistan advocate general, who was abducted on April 3, has reached home, a private TV channel reported on Tuesday.
He was abducted from Sariab Road of the provincial capital. He was on his way home from the Balochistan High Court when unidentified armed men had intercepted his vehicle and kidnapped him.
Lawyers in Quetta, Mastung, Khuzdar, Kalat and others areas of Balochistan had been protesting against the kidnapping during the past month and a half.
The Balochistan Bar Association (BBA) had announced that they would boycott court proceedings from May 21 to May 24 in the province in this regard.
