Pakistan Tehrek-i-Insaf (PTI) Lahore has welcomed the decision by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) regarding fingerprint verification of votes through National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
PTI media team members Rana Akhtar, Ishtiaq Malik, Irfan Ahmed, Umar Khan and Atif Seekho said on Tuesday that NADRA should develop software for fingerprint verification as soon as possible in the interest of the country as a large number of people were unsatisfied over the election results in many constituencies.
They said the nation aspired to witness transparent and fair election process throughout the country and called for modernising polling system before the next general elections.
