Shahbaz urges parties to accept public mandate

Former Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif on Monday asked the political parties staging protests and sit-ins to accept the public mandate with open heart as they were rejected by people for their mistakes and mismanagement during their rule.
He was talking to reporters at the residence of MNA Afzal Khokhar.
Shahbaz said that rejected political parties should avoid protests and prepare themselves for next election and win the hearts of people by serving them while sitting in opposition.
He asserted that PML-N had not spared time to waste in accusation and leg-pulling. They would utilise next five years for the people.
The PML-N leader thanked the people for reposing confidence in his party. He said all available resources would be used to facilitate the people and help them to get rid of the prevailing crises.
Commenting on President Zardari’s visit to Lahore, Shahbaz said that the president had right to move across the country and to hold meetings with political leaders.
