The Prime Minister House has rejected reports carried in certain sections of media regarding arbitrary postings and transfers by the caretaker government.
A spokesman of the PM House has said that all postings and transfers have been done after due examination and in consultation with the Establishment Division. He emphasized that the decisions were taken on the basis of reports received from relevant ministries highlighting the need for the said changes to reduce inefficiency‚ or on grounds of unsuitability.
It merits mentioning that on Monday Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khuwaja Asif had challenged the transfers on key government posts in the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
