A Levies official was gunned down on Monday when a polio vaccination team was attacked in Bajaur Agency bordering Afghanistan.
Officials said miscreants in Mamond area opened fire on an anti-polio team. A soldier of Levies Forces, who was escorting the immunisation team, was killed in the attack while the team members remained safe.
Security forces started search operation in the area following the attack.
