The Metereological Department on Saturday predicted that the weather will remain hot and dry in most parts of the country for the next 12 hours.It predicted that the severe heat wave will prevail in plains of Punjab, upper and central Sindh, Balochistan and southern Khyber Pakhtunkhawa.
The morning temperature in some major cities on Saturday was: 20C in Islamabad and Murree; 27C in Lahore, 28C in Karachi, 22C in Peshawar, 16C in Quetta, 11C in Gilgit and 21C in Muzaffarabad.
