The kidnappers of a missing doctor on Sunday demanded Rs 40 million as ransom money for his release.
According to details, senior surgeon Dr Mubashir Hassan was kidnapped from Chamman in April.
His wife Bibi Sakina told reporters at a press conference that Dr Mubashir was diabetic and the amount abductors had demanded was too high for her.
She said that the district administration had done for her except offer words of support.
She requested Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and the Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso to take measures to recover her husband.
