Fazlur Rehman, chief of his own faction of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), on Sunday formed a four-member committee to hold talks with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) regarding expected federal government.
JUI-F spokesman Amjad Khan told reporters the party had decided to continue talks with the PML-N and Abdul Ghafoor Haideri would lead the committee. The committee also includes Akram Khan Durrani, Gul Naseeb and Malik Sikandar, he added.
To a question, he said the JUI-F did not hold negotiations for the formation of the government, and demanding a ministry or governorship was out of question.
Meanwhile, PML-N leader Raja Zafarul Haq also confirmed that the JUI-F did not make any demand in Saturday’s talks.
