The Speaker of Sindh Assembly, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, hosted a lunch for the MPAs and MNAs-elect of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) from the province at a hotel on Saturday.
On the occasion, he also felicitated the MPAs and MNAs-elect on their success in the May 11 general elections.
He also thanked the people of the province for reposing their confidence in the representatives of the PPP. Nisar Khuhro said that the elected representatives would continue their efforts in accordance with the vision of Benazir Bhutto for the betterment and progress of the people of the country as well as those of Sindh.
Former chief minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah also felicitated the candidates of PPP who emerged victorious in the May 11 general elections.
He said the PPP would continue its efforts in accordance with the vision of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto under the guidance of Asif Ali Zardari.
Qaim Ali Shah said the PPP would also face all the challenges daringly.
