The management of Left Bank Canals Area Water Board will carry out water rotation programme in the irrigation system of Badin and Tando Muhammad Khan districts from Sunday due to shortage of water in the river.
According to the decision, the water rotation programme will be carried out in Matli, Talhar, Gaja, Dabbi, Jalalani, Tando Bago, Qazia, Kadhan and Shadi Large irrigation sub-divisions.
The management of Left Bank Canals Areas Water Board has advised the municipal committees and other concerned departments to store water for drinking purposes so that people do not experience any inconvenience during closure of water.
