Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hanif Abbasi on Thursday alleged rigging in NA-56.
Addressing a news conference, he alleged that it was pre-planned rigging, adding that the city was a PML-N stronghold.
He demanded that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to probe the rigging in depth. He said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf stuffed all ballot boxes with 30 to 70 votes before voting started.
He hinted that intra-party rifts among the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was the main reason of defeat in the polls.
