Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench on Friday revoked Election Commission’s decision regarding recounting of votes in NA-57 constituency of Attock.

PML-N’s winning candidate Sheikh Aftab had contacted Lahore High Court after ECP issued order of vote recount in NA-57 over application submitted by Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) candidate Malik Amin Aslam.

During the proceedings, counsel for PML-N candidate Advocate Sheikh Ahsan Uddin argued that Election Commission issued directives without listening to his client’s version, which is illegal.

On this, the court ordered that recounting could not be held until ECP listens to both respondents in the case.

    • What a silly argument, well, if PMLN is so confident, they ought not to have any complaint to recount surely. Use logic my dear PMLN supporter.

  2. yar if N had won, it'll win even in recount… what is PMLN scared of? and LHC too….?
