The local Meteorological Department on Thursday forecasted hot and dry weather for the provincial capital during the next 24 hours. According to the synoptic situation, yesterday’s westerly wave lying over Kashmir and adjoining areas has moved away eastwards. Weather experts predicted mainly hot and dry weather with dust raising winds at some places is expected in most parts of the country. However, isolated dust thunderstorm/rain with gusty winds is likely to occur some places of Malakand, Hazara, Islamabad, Rawalpindi divisions and Kashmir.The maximum temperature in the metropolitan city was recorded at 41.2 degrees celsius and the minimum 22.5 while relative humidity remained at 36 percent in the morning and 17 percent in the evening.
