Two bombs exploded near two separate mosques after Friday prayers in Malakand Division’s Bazdara area killing 10 persons and injuring at least 20 others.
Deputy Commissioner Malakand Amjad Ali confirmed that 10 persons were killed and 20 others injured in the two blasts adding that the number of casualties was expected to increase.
Emergency and rescue teams reached the site of incident where security forces cordoned off the area as investigations into the incident went underway.
