Sindh High Court (SHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Mushir Alam remarked that the responsibility of checking the law and order situation should be assigned to only one institution in the metropolis.
“Responsibility of maintaining law and order situation in the city should be given to only one institution. If responsibility of law and order is assigned to more than one institution, it means no one would be responsible,” he said while talking to reporters here on Friday.
The CJ hoped that the new government would assign the responsibility of maintaining law and order situation to only one institution.
Further, he said that action was also being taken against corruption taking place in the sub-ordinate courts and many judicial officers have been removed in this connection. Meanwhile, others were issued show cause notices on corruption charges.
Moreover, CJ Mushir said that addressing complaints regarding the election process was the job of Election Commission of Pakistan.
