More than 80 stamped ballot papers were found from a garbage dump in Gulistan Road in Quetta on Thursday.
The ballot papers were stamped in favour of three different parties, including Hazara Democratic Party (HDP).
On receiving information, HDP Chairman Abdul Khaliq Hazara rushed to the scene and helped recover the ballot papers.
He said he had already expressed apprehensions about rigging and his stance had been vindicated as the dumped papers were carrying stamps on HDP’s election symbol.
He demanded of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to conduct re-polling in PB-2.
