Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Thursday lost from Punjab’s provincial assembly seat PP-7 Taxila to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Siddique Khan after a recount in six polling stations.
The Election Commission of Pakistan ordered recounting of votes on complaints of rigging. The recount was done thrice, which was also observed by media persons and non-aligned lawyers, private news channels reported.
Good job,now the influence and the PML-N and their foul tactics have surfaced
This proves should have won a lot more seats, elections were a farce and this is why, the protests must continue until ECP listens and ensures, this does not happen again.
