Electronic appliances worth billions of rupees turned into ashes when a warehouse caught fire due to short circuiting at Lahore’s Mozang Chowk on Wednesday.
Sources said that the fire soon engulfed the whole Abid market.
Fire brigade staff rushed to the scene and controlled the fire after three hours of efforts, sources added.
The timely rescue operation saved many nearby shops, said reports.
