Awami National Party (ANP) President Asfandyar Wali Khan on Thursday said that his party would sit on the opposition benches in the National and KP assemblies.
Addressing a press conference, he said the ANP accepted the results of the elections.
“Our mandate was hijacked by terrorist forces who were attacking our rallies during the election campaign,” he said.
He said that the ANP was attacked 31 times by terrorists during election campaign but the ECP and the caretaker government did not take the notice.
Asfandyar also advised the PML-N and PTI to accept each other’s mandate.
