The Supreme Court on Wednesday ordered Punjab inspector general (IG) to promote over 200 DSPs.
The court’s Lahore registry had been hearing a petition filed by DSP Rana Aslam, DSP Safdar Raza Kazmi and others for their promotion.
After concluding the case’s hearing, Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jilani directed IG Aftab Sultan, to form a committee and promote over 200 DSPs.
The court also directed the inspector general to present a report on the implementation of the ruling.
