Police arrest 61 criminals

Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested 61 criminals, including six absconders and 13 hardened accused in 111 different raids conducted against criminal elements. 29 different types of weapons have also been recovered in the last two days.
According to media reports, East, West and South police zones reports said that Sohrab Goth, Bin Qasim and Quaidabad police arrested five bandits and killed another in separate police encounters.
Meanwhile, the Korangi Industrial Area, Sohrab Goth and Pak Colony police detained 13 accused involved in robberies.
Further, Sir Syed police arrested Muhammad Sohail alias Tanveer, son of Abdul Majeed, for his alleged involvement in a murder case.
Similarly, Azizabad police arrested criminal Muhammad Nadir, son of Yaseen, in a murder case.
Moreover, police also informed that they had arrested 26 people involved in violation of ban on pillion riding in the past two days.
