Two more children passed away on Wednesday from measles, bringing the number of deaths from the disease to 80 in Punjab, medical officials said.
The two kids died in Children Hospital Lahore.
Some 9,000 children have been affected by measles in Punjab, triggering provincial health authorities to launch a children’s vaccination week- from April 24 to April 30.
However, the outbreak is still out of control and causing deaths across the country.
