Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) provincial President Ghous Ali Shah on Wednesday announced to support Sindh-wide strike planned by Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) on May 16.
Ghous, who is also former chief minister Sindh, was addressing a press conference at his residence here.
He appealed to the Supreme Court of Pakistan and the Chief Election Commissioner to take notice of the alleged rigging in the recently concluded general elections.
Ghous Ali Shah also called for holding re-election in the entire Sindh province.
He refused to comment on a question about rigging in Punjab province.
Meanwhile, former provincial minister Irfanullah Marwat, PML-N leader Salim Zia and others were also present on the occasion.
It may be noted here that the PML-F headed by Pir Pagaro had announced to observe protest and strike across Sindh on May 16, against the alleged rigging in the elections.
