Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Deputy Secretary General Imran Ismail praised the astonishing turnout in the metropolis to support the party.
He said that the people have verified that they were longing for a real change. The results could have established “Naya Karachi” as a prelude to “Naya Pakistan” in case free and fair elections were held.
While talking to journalists at PTI Central Media Cell, Imran Ismail said, “The number of votes casted in NA-250, NA-251, NA-252, NA-253 and NA-256 by the people of Karachi suggested that they consider PTI as the only party that can bring a real change.”
He commended the enthusiasm of PTI devotees who stood in line for hours to cast their votes, but shamefully, the mandate was stolen through bogus votes.
In response to a question, he said, “Subhan Ali Sahil succeeded with distinction from NA-239 Keyamari Town, but after 42 hours, his defeat was reported with a difference of around 4,000 votes.” He further said that the PTI would challenge the election results in courts while demanding re-elections in the city under supervision of army.
Naya Pakistan will come, we all want it, inshallah.
