Lahore High Court Justice Nasir Saeed Sheikh on Tuesday refused to hear former PML-Q MPA Seemal Kamran’s petition against her disqualification for personal reasons and referred the matter to LHC chief justice, with a request to fix it before another bench.
Seemal Kamran through her petition assailed Election Commission of Pakistan’s decision of her disqualification for having fake degree. She contended that the decision was illegal and unconstitutional.
She pleaded the court to set aside the ECP decision.
