CPWB rescues seven beggar children

The Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB) Rawalpindi rescued seven beggar children found during the last week.

According to the CPWB district officer, rescue teams and the police visited several areas including Saddar, Commercial Market, Pirwadhai and Scheme Three.

He said six children namely Hussain, Waseem, Ramiz, Samir, Sulman and Attiq-ur-Rehman, were returned to their parents.

He informed that the children were later presented in the Child Protection Court for legal custody determination. The bureau’s family tracing unit works to locate the parents of such children and on and returns them on the condition of a signed affidavit that they would not be made to beg.

He appealed to all citizens to inform the authorities promptly about any such children using the Child Protection Helpline 1121.

    May Allah help Pakistan come out of the dark and enlighten us with great knowledge.
    A beautiful islamic welfare estate Inshallah one day maybe after we all pass away but surely one day inshallah.
