A case has been registered against Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leaders Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Chaudhry Moonis Elahi for the attempted murder of a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate in Gujrat, a private TV channel reported on Sunday.
It said 73 people were implicated in the attempted murder case, including the two PML-Q leaders, adding that a case had also been filed against the newly-elected MNA of the PML-N from Gujrat, Nawabzada Mazhar, for intervention in the election process.
